Iowa Sports has been managing luxury residential amenities, health clubs, pools and spas for more than 45 years throughout the tri-state area.

Our range of services is complete — from conception to operation. We design facilities, develop operational systems and provide ongoing management.

Gregory Cilek
Founder

Mr. Cilek entered the fitness industry in 1978 as manager of the Paris Health Club in New York City. He soon recognized the New York City real estate boom occurring and seized the opportunity to take part in the birth of the residential health club market. Through his initiatives he became involved with developers and building management companies and formed his own health club management company. Having a construction background, developers soon turned to Mr. Cilek for his advice and recommendations in planning health clubs.

Mr. Cilek founded Iowa Sports Management in 1979. He was born in Iowa City, Iowa and was a resident of New York for 45 years. Under his visionary leadership, ISM has grown to over 45 managed facilities and today is a forerunner in the fitness industry in the New York area.
